The Kitties

This one is little enough Georgia can hold it and it doesn't really claw her.

This one, on the other hand is a bit fiestier.

The Valley

Barbara and Billy returning from a ride in the valley with Denny.
This is at the far end of the pasture looking back at Mary and Denny's woods.

The riders: Gleason, Bob, Little G, Big V, and Darby in the sling.

This is up at the wood-line looking back down at the field. We were in the far corner by the pond when we took the first picture.

If you look closely, you can see a clear spot in the woods right in the middle of the picture that looks back up at my parents house.

My brother on his new dirt bike.

Bubbles Bubbles

This is what Georgia and Daddy did this morning while Mama was out running.

New Stuff at the Byrne Ranch

After a bout of rodent and reptile infestation my mom decided it was time for 2 outside baby girl kitties. So I hunted them down on Craigs List and did the leg work and here they are. The first one shall be called Nilla and the other one remains nameless. Suggestions welcome.

And for those who don't know, my parents just purchased the 16.5 acres of land adjacent to their own. Most of it is field so they needed a way to get to it and work on it...I give you the mule. (It is actually a Kubota.)

And here are some pics of the littlest one who, by the way, loves to ride in the mule.

Trying Harder

I am going to try harder to post more stories now that Georgia is talking and becoming more of a little person. You will have to forgive my spelling and grammar because I only have about a 10 to 20 minute window a night to sit and type.

Georgia is really into hitting lately. She loves to look me in the eye and smack the baby. I know she is doing it for attention but it is so frustrating. I don't think anything I could do would change her behavior and I am about to the point where I am going to ignore it for a few days and see if it goes away.

Besides hitting she is trying to communicate whole thoughts with two words. As her mother, I know what these things mean, but to an outsider it is really hard for her to communicate. Today when we got home from school she got this look on her face and then said "Daddy work." Now a normal person would just think she was saying that her daddy is at work but I can translate:
"My Daddy is at work right now and I am wondering when he will be home because I am tired of being ignored over this baby."

One of my favorite things she says is booger and it sounds like "buber." We will be driving and she will say "Mama, Buber." That means:
"Mama I just picked my nose and got a booger so could you hand me something to wipe it on."

New Pics

After bath with Daddy.

Georgia got some new markers and stickers you can color and they promptly went on her face.

Kisses for sissy.
