9-Month Comparison

Darby

Georgia

Darby started several new things this weekend. She started clapping, she signed "nurse" and she let go every time she pulled up to test how long she could stand. She would let go, stand there for a second and then bounce up and down in excitement until she' fall down on her bottom. She it too cute and quite feisty. Georgia is doing so well with her and likes her so much. She is always saying "Momma put Darby down. Georgia play toys with Darby on floor." Of course then she just steals whatever Darby has but Darby doesn't care.

How Much for a Rib?

Darby scored a rib from Mary's house the other night and when it was time to get in the bath would not let it go. So, she bathed with it. I was able to sneak it away towards the end and replace it with a toothbrush.

Sleeping Cutie

I think people who take pictures of their babies are crazy. I am so afraid of waking my children I would never dare take a picture while they are asleep. However, Darby woke up at 5:40 the other morning and didn't go back to sleep until about 7:15 and was laying on my chest when she did. I managed to sneak out around 8 and it was time for her to wake up by 8:15. So I had the courage to take some pictures since I wanted her to wake up anyway. I think there is nothing sweeter than a sleeping baby.
