Cold Weather Brings Out the Costumes

The unbearably cold weather is making us all a little crazy. Georgia came running out her room with the following head gear on.



And then she added the Velcro monkey.

This is just something she dug out her closet and wanted to wear around one night.

A Baby is a Plant's Best Friend

She loves to crawl to this plant and pull up and then dig around. I know it is not a habit I want her to keep but it is so cute right now. I will have to crack down soon.

Bundle Up

I put Darby in a little bundle up outfit the other night to walk next door and Georgia felt left out and insisted I bundle her as well.

Splashy Splasherson

I had up my shutter speed significantly to catch all the splashing.

8 Month Comparison

At 8-months the differences are pretty vast. Georgia was always smiling, Darby is a little more serious. Georgia was not even up on all fours and Darby has been crawling and pulling herself up for a month. Darby still cries for no reason (it seems to me). Georgia was mostly content. Georgia was still not eating many solids and Darby eats anything and everything. They both were still not sleeping too well at this point but Darby has a furry about her when she wakes in the middle of the night. Georgia was usually happy to take her paci back and go back to sleep. All Darby will settle for is the boob and we have tried everything else. They are both wonderful in their own ways and Darby has such a sweetness about her that I just want to eat her up.
