Lots Happening

The leaves are all off the trees and it happened in such a short amount of time. The sun is setting sooner and the weather is getting colder which makes it hard on a couple of out door kids.

We are finding ways to stay entertained though. Georgia wanted to put on some tights while she was bottomless the other day and then decided to do somersaults. I laughed real hard when I saw this.

Daddy celebrated a birthday last weekend and we went on our first road trip with both girls to a LLL conference in Hutchinson KS. My birthday gift to him was coming home Saturday instead of staying until Sunday because we were both going in sane trying to entertain the kids in a hotel. The car ride was a bit rough on the way home but we survived. Daddy is also participating in no shave November for a column he is going to write. He now has more hair than I have ever seen him with.

This morning when Daddy went to get Georgia she had unzipped her PJs and stuffed her Cheeky monkey and blanket in there and then zipped back up. Pretty funny little thing she is.

Other news includes Georgia being potty trained. We have had two very successful days in panties and I am hoping diapers are a thing of the past. Darby is going to bed in her own room starting two nights ago so I am able to have some time to spend with Matt and catch up on things from 9 to 10 instead of just going to bed with her. She also took a couple of crawling "steps" today so I bet by Thanksgiving she will be mobile. They do grow up so fast.
In some sad news we lost one of our new kitties to the road last week. Going through my pictures tonight I found this one of Vivian holding her two nights before she died. RIP Lexi.
