WE headed to Amarillo after school the Friday before spring break. As has been our tradition, we stopped in elk City for the night so as not to wear the kids out too much in one day. 
We were greeted by the Amarillo cousins upon our arrival and got to take a nice long walk and go exploring.
I did a little photo session with the kids so we would have some pictures of them together since we only see them about twice a year. We also used the timer on my camera to get a whole family group photo.
Uncle Peter took me trout fishing in a stocked pond and I was in heaven. It was a little chilly but catching a fish made it all worth it and the scenery was gorgeous.

The deer and turkeys are like squirrels there, just everywhere. The kids get a real kick out of it every time. Georgia always keeps a running total of how many deer she sees and she got well over 150 this trip.
