TSHA Christmas Party 2012

We go to TSHA's Chritmas part every year.  Matt and I have chosen an auditory/verbal route for Georgia because her hearing loss is on the mild side but I want her to continue to be exposed to others who are Deaf and HOH.  I think it is great when she can walk into a room full of people and see that many of them have been affected by hearing loss and are either wearing hearing aids, cochlear implants or are Deaf and signing.  Mera went with us this year and both girls had a lot of fun as usual.

They take a picture of every kid with Deaf Santa and give every child a big stocking full of goodies.
Mera really enjoyed decorating her own cookie but perhaps liked eating it the best.
They have tables and tables of arts and crafts for the kids to do.  A real dream for Georgia.
The had a pop walk this year and it was painful to watch.  G tried for about 15 minutes and could never land on a winning number.  We gave up and then came back and she finally won pretty quickly.
She got to go fishing for toys.
I am so thankful for TSHA and the work they do in the community.
