A Visit to Aunt Bob

We took a little day trip to Stillwater to visit Aunt Bob while the girls were out of school.  she showed us a good time by taking us to Joe's and then bowling.  The little ones had never been bowling before and it had been a couple of years for Georgia.  After that it was off to the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for some caramel apples.  Such good memories and fun with my girls.

Darby Art

Christmas 2014

I guess I did a horrible job taking pictures on Christmas morning since I only have 2 but here they are.  Kids always have to wait in the hall and get their picture taken before they see what Santa brought.
This year Georgia got a CD player and some CDs.  Mera got a giant tent for her room because the one we had that she had been sleeping in had fallen apart.  Darby got a kids digital camera.  After presents at our house we went over to Mary's and opened gifts with them and the cousins.  We are so blessed!

Christmas Eve 2013

We had a great Christmas Eve with lots of friends and family.  the holidays are really fun now that the girls are over for both them and me.
Aunt Bob betting some love from Mary Bea.
Mera having a snack with Daddy.

Darby had been working a piano peace to play for the group and she did very well.  She is not taking piano lessons but may be starting in the near future.
We did some arts and crafts this year to help keep the kids entertained.
Lili and Andres were there as well with baby Camila.

TSHA Christmas Party

We go to the TSHA Christmas party every year and I take Georgia sans sisters.  It is really fun for me to get to spend some time alone with her and have a little tradition.

I also always take a picture with Georgia and the audiologist who discovered her hearing loss.  I love this women because she is my height.  She will always have a special place in my heart.
And we always take treats home to the sisters.

November in a Blink

This little hunter/gatherer is really fun to live with lately.  I never know what I will find her sleeping with.  Here she has a little plastic rhino and the kitty cat Nanue gave her while we were in Amarillo.
We celebrated Daddy's birthday at Mary's house with pimento cheese and cake.
The school district G goes to school in has wonderful services for kids who are Deaf and HOH.  One of the fun things they do is throw an ice cream sundae party for the kids whole class once a year if the kids wear their hearing aids for 20 consecutive days.  This encourages the kids in the class to support Georgia and make the hearing aids a positive for all of the kids. Here is Georgia with her ice cream sundae that she earned and as of this day has never gone a day at school without her ears.  She really is amazing.

The Doctor, The Bat and Pippi

Oh my we had an awesome Halloween!  Darby had been talking about being a bat for months so I made it happen.  Her own grandmother did not recognize her.
Mera saw a Dr. costume at Sams and got stuck on it.  We have never actually watch Dr. McStuffins but we did wear the costume.

And Georgia wanted to be Pippi.  She and I had a blast at the thrift stores looking for the perfect costume parts.

Uncle Matt as his usual orange Wizard.
