Not Having Fun

It is pretty bad here in the heartland as it has been called. We lost power yesterday around 3 and planned on hunkering down at home. We quickly realized that was a cold and bad idea. Luckily the shop still has power and since Georgia has a crib out here and is pretty used to being here we came out here to sleep. Thanks to a really nice fold out couch in her room, the night was not as bad as it could have been. The estimate of when power will be restored are still pretty gloom with 7 to 10 days being the best estimate. Very few food places have power so when you find one that does, the lines are long and they are out of half of the stuff on the menu. We are thankful for each other and that out house has no major damage. These are pictures taken before sunset yesterday. This is the view out our back deck.

And these were taken this morning.

I will be going home before sunset today to grab some clean clothes for the family and check on the dogs. Hopefully I can get some pictures of the front of the house and out beautiful fruit tree which has been destroyed.

It is simply unbelievable!!! I am just so thankful you all are okay.
Take care of each other and stay safe.
Thankful for you. Love, Karen

Well, the last few pics were sad, but all the ones before that were great! I loved the belly pic comparison between your two pregnancies. Not that different this time, is it?

Good to see you yesterday. I stayed up way too late last night and am going to take a nap now that I've finally seen all there is to see of ~the Gleasons. (-: Eowyn is a little snuffy sicky today - hey, maybe she got something at playgroup. I didn't think about that until right now. Ah, shared germs. Tis the season!
