Gentian Violet

Looks like little G and I have a tad of thrush. Gentian violet is supposed to be the fastest way to get rid of it so she is spending her nights with bit of a purple mouth. We hope to have this thing whipped in the next few days.

Sunglasses and Bread

Georgia has a new fondness for sunglasses so I bought her her own little pair. She doesn't wear tehm for long but sure grins big when she does have them on.
And her newest trick is downward dog with no hands.

This is nap time hair.

And there is nothing she likes mmore than a big ole hunk of bread to chew on.

This picture was taken right before Jack stole her bread and ran off with it. Bye bye bread.

Just Really Cute

Blueberry Pancakes

Zoo Trip

We took our 3rd trip to the zoo with our little monkey and she loved it. She pointed at everything and was so interested in all of the animal.

We go to go to the petting zoo and she got to pet sheep and goats and was really into it. The carousel was the best and she wouldn't let go when it was time to get off.

Looks Like We Have a Walker

Georgia has really taken off in the last couple of days and today she learned to stand up all be herself without pulling up on anything. So now every time she falls she just gets back up again. There is nothing holding her back. Here are some pics of her walking around. The first one is her standing up. And that is a tooth bush she is carrying around. Part of the fun of walking is always having something in hand.

We Left on a Jet Plane

Georgia took her first plane ride this weekend to Dallas for Matt's cousin's wedding.

Here Georgia is in the Tulsa airport entertaining herself with an empty pack of gum. She slept through the flight so it was not too bad at all.

Playing in Nanue's purse at the hotel.

She got to meet all 3 of her great grandparents. This is Dan's dad.

Dan's mom.

Here is the bride and groom having their first dance.

Georgia and her great grandmother Mary, Nanue's mama.

And if anyone wonders whether or not Georgia will be tall, there is a good chance she won't. From left to right Nanue's sister's: Kerri, Kathleen, Kristine and Karen (Nanue). I don't even think I am standing up straight in this picture.

Georgia was a dancing fool.

She really like the hotel room and all the new stuff to play with.

We go to watch the airplanes at DFW...

...And even made a new friend.

Nanue's Good Taste and Other Bits

First let me just say that Nanue has pretty much kept my baby clothed so far. She is always out looking for something cute as well as helping Rebekah pack up hand-me-downs of Caroline's so that I can receive 5 Fed-ex boxes of clothes at once. And the clothes are always so cute. Here is a little outfit that I just love so much.

Georgia is now in love with swinging. She sees the swing and starts bouncing up and down and reaching for it and saying "unh unh unh." I know that doesn't sound much like swing to you but we are getting there.

She is also pretty in love with her grandmamma.

On Saturday and Sunday morning it has kind of become standard that Matt gets up with Georgia and I get to sleep in until about 9 or so. This morning while Georgia is napping and Matt is at the store I thought I would update the blog so I get the camera, and much to my horror, find this picture from this morning:

I dare you to double click it and see how really gnarly that thing in her nose is. I actually had a physical reaction when I saw this picture and wanted to scrape the computer screen until that chuck of either booger or oatmeal came out of her nose. Isn't Daddy so fun.

And this is a picture that I guess indicates she was ready from me to get up.

I also wanted to mention that she has taken some steps this weekend into the void. Last weekend she started moving from item to item by taking a couple steps and this weekend she will just let go and head out into the great unknown. Right now she doesn't get more than about 3 steps but I have a feeling that will change sooner than I am ready.
