Dallas Trip

We took a trip to Dallas to see Matt's grandmas and meet Nanue and Big Pap for a night at Great Wolf Lodge.
The show at Great Wolf Lodge was one of the creepiest things I've ever seen.  Kids liked it though.
We might have eaten a McDonald's a couple of times.
We also got to eat at Rain Forrest Cafe.

We spent a couple hours with Mamaw and the girls really got a kick out of her.  So glad they will have memories of their Great Grandmother.

Georgia and Darby never sleep together at home.  I though this was kind of sweet.
We stayed with one of Karen's sister and Darby made friends with a little gecko.
We also saw grandma and the kids got to fight over who would push her wheelchair.

 Mera playing with her food.
One of the hotels we stayed at had a pool the was very cold but a nice little courtyard outside so the girls got to get some Vitamin D.

Nanue's side of the family had a little brunch for us the morning we left.  We got to play pass the baby with one of Matt's cousins kids.

 Matt and his 3 aunts
 Me and the sisters.

Darby to Woolaroc

I got to go with Darby's class to Woolaroc in Bartlesville.  I had not been during nice weather before and was pleasantly surprised at how pretty the grounds were and how much there was to explore.

Tulsa state Fair 2014

We told the kids that we would not be riding any rides at the fair this year.  It is just too expensive for our family of five.  Since they were prepared they handled it very well once we actually got there.  We spent a little more money on foor and actually let them go in the butterfly tent to make up for it.

Daily Life

This child is the best sleeper.  She tells me when she is tired and asks permission to take naps.  She also falls asleep where ever she is if she is tired.  Daddy was holding her, waiting for mama to put her to bed and she passed out.
She also laughs more than any kid I've some across.  She cracks herself up.
Georgia is learning the family business and came out one Saturday to help me run the saw.  She is a god helper!
Mary has been working her bottom off on blazing trails through the woods.  We love them and often spend evenings taking walks and learning about nature.
