Easter 09

We died eggs at Mary's with Vivian on Friday night. G had a great time and when I put her to bed her hands were green.



I had to go put D to bed so Mary stepped in and helped with the eggs. Mary and I are kindred spirits in our love of Easter. She hid eggs for me up until I had children.

We let the girls open their baskets from Nanue on Saturday morning to spread the fun out over the whole weekend.

On Easter morning the "Easter Bunny" hid the real eggs we had set out and let the girls baskets. G was so excited that she got a chocolate bunny. Darby was excited for her.

Darby carried her basket around and looked for eggs really well.

And of course she put everything in her mouth.

Then we met up with Mary's with the cousins and hunted again.

Super thought the whistles were awesome and blew on it non-stop.

Darby's Birthday

Right before her party started, Darby pooped herself so bad she needed a strip down and a rinse off in the sink. My mom remodeled her bathroom a few years ago and picked this sink for this very reason. I think this may have been the first time it was put to its intended use.

This is the cake I made for the grown ups in case the poodle got destroyed.
