Matt's B-day

This was taken on a different day than Matt's b-day but the girls love it when Kiki comes over and will paint their nails.

I made Matt and OSU cake since his b-day fell on the day of the Bowl Game.
It is good all the grown ups don't mind sharing the candle blowing.

I even made the inside of the cake orange.

New Years Eve

We had a great NYE. I hosted a party for LLL at my mom's house. The kids had a great time and there was only one trip to the minor emergency center (not by us).
The moms and dads had a good time talking as well.

Where's Darby?

The pit was a huge hit.

Holiday with Nanue & Big Papa

Big Papa and G came up with their own version of air hockey with coasters. G giggled and laughed non-stop.

Opening presents with Nanue and Big Papa.

They got matching outfits that they had to wear right away.

Darby got a stool with her name just like Georgia has.

The art gifts were fun this year. We got Nanue lotion dispensers.

And Big Papa a coffee cup.

The girls got bath tub paint that they used all up in one bath.

Story time.

I am slowly getting caught up on pictures. I am hoping to finish up tonight.

Sledding

The un-pregnant of the group went sledding in the valley the day after X-mas. This was a very steep driveway and in order to survive you had to navigate between to fence post that were about 4 feet apart. Here is Matt B. headin' down.

And Matt G.

And Kiki

My bro pimpin' it.

The best part was at the bottom of the hill was a giant mud puddle you hopefully would fly over as opposed to land in. In this picture you can see the fence posts above as well as the height of the hill.

I went on a much smaller hill up in the yard with both girls. It was too cold and wet to go for too long. G sure liked it though.

I am not sure Darby really cared.

Christmas Morning 09

G opening her Santa present.

I think she liked it.

D opening hers.
Georgia showing the over 6" of snow we got the night before.

Snow in our yard in the morning sun.

I made monkey bread and it was good.

Aunt Kiki and D.

Mary and Darby looking at a picture of Darby. Monkey bread stuck to fingers.

Mary got the girls matching strollers and baby beds and it didn't take the cat long to explore.

A Gleason family chain in the clutter of the morning.

Christmas Eve 09

The plate we made for Santa.

Gmama and D-Rae.

Bob and the cousins.

The Berken-Allens

The Gleasons.

My babies.

My husband, 55 pounds lighter than her was this time last year.
Cousin Vivi.

"The Destroyer" as we sometimes call her.

The Darby Show II

She and Daddy took a field trip alone the other day and she ended up with a blue ring pop.

This is her trying on my bra after a shower.

She knows how the nursing flaps work and here she is trying to unfasten it.
This is why we don't ask her to pose for pictures.

This was a hand print on her face after a really long nap. I have never seen this happen before but it was too cute.

She is very into putting on shoes. Hers, dad's, Georgia's, whatever she finds on the floor.

Cream cheese face.
