Ten Years of Bliss

Matt and I renewed our vows the week of our 10th anniversary.  It was a small ceremony with some family down on my moms land.  My goo friend Kelly of Elly Photography came and took pictures for us.  This is just a small sampling.  Oh and I guess I should mention, I wore my original wedding dress.  

Our moms got us a hotel room downtown that night so we went out and had an evening and leisurely morning to ourselves.  

Big Noses, Big Purchases, Big News

Mary keeps a huge tub of dress up clothes at her house so we never know who the kids will be on a night they decide to get into it.  This is Darby as a clown.  

Our washing machine died so we got a new one and it has a clear top.  Hours on entertainment.  

 And finally, Darby has learned to ride a bike.  The girls and I went over to the Katy trail by our house and did a little 5-mile ride. Mama was a bit nervous but they did great.  

Spanish Festival 2014

The kids did a great job this year.  I helped sew all the skirts for Georgia's class and had a lot of fun doing so.  They were really great and made the performance more authentic.  

 Darby's class did a cute song about Pizzas.

 Matt had to work but Mera sat in the front and was great for the whole shoe.

Start of School 2014 - Pre-K, 1st & 3rd

School started for the big girls on a Wed. and on Fri. for the little bit so we had two days of first day of school pics.  

End of Summer Fun

We finally got to spend a day on the boat with Aunt Bob.  We found a fun little beach and buried Darby.

 Darby also had a pool party with some of her class mates to finish out the summer.  These kids have so much fun together.

Happy 4th Birthday Mera

We had a small family party at our house on her birthday with the cousins.  She was enthusiastic about her gifts to say the least.  

 My mom worked all week on a "fairy garden" to unveil at the birthday party. It was so neat and we look forward to adding to it in the months and years to come.  

 We had a mermaid themed party os here she is gearing up for it.  

Her friend party was at Mary's house and it was a pool party complete with hired mermaid (maybe you remember her from renaissance fair).

 I made the cake and did my first butter cream transfer.  Turned out all right.
